Anti-trust reminder

This is a reminder that all OpenPOWER Foundation activities are subject to strict compliance with the OpenPOWER Foundation’s Antitrust Guidelines.   1. Hardware Status - All is well!

  2. GPU specific images

    • Created but need thorough testing. Manually installed GPU image is running ‘great’. Still need to test Lance’s auto-generated GPU image.

  3. AC922 Testing Status – The machines are ready for testing once the OPF Portal is integrated with OSU environment.

  4. OpenShift Entitlements

    • OpenSHIFT entitlements are in Chris's account and good until 2023-06-29.
    • The OpenSHIFT auto installer is designed to use one private LAN and is therefore not compatible with the OSUOSL OpenStack Network Architecture. Max is adapting the installer.
    • We will give up redundancy and reliability in certain systems, so we can set up OpenSHIFT on Power ASAP. Systems can be offloaded onto redundant systems later.

  5. OFP Form and RT Integration - HIGH PRIORITY

    • The OPF portal is still not ready to be integrated with OSU. Lance has some work to do to be able to integrate with OPF portal, and he expects he will be complete next week.
    • This is the last major step needed to be able to promote the HUB to the PUBLIC and open it for general use.
    • Toshaan – will you tell us when Lance (OSU) can begin the integration with the OPF system?

  6. OPF HUB SIG WG

    • Lance will send a note to invite OPF HUB SIG WG Participants to join a regular work group call that we expect will take over this time slot going forward.
    • Target for the first call is next week, October 6.

  7. Super Computing '22

    • Chris reminded the team that SC22 (Nov 13-18, 2022 @ https://sc22.supercomputing.org/) is our target.
    • It is desired that the OPF HUB SIG WG drive our presence and content for this conference.
      • Our broad goal is to announce the availability of the HUB at OSU, and present it/ demo it at various SC22 venues.
    • This target also emphasizes the importance of completing the OPF Portal integration with OSU as soon as practical, as we will need time for testing, etc..
